Open Mic Night at Common Root

Come express yourself! Read something you wrote, poetry, prose, rambling observations about life. Rail against the unfairness of life and the world. Describe an experience, a beautiful thing you saw or heard. A person that helped you or inspired you. Read someone else’s work, a poem, song, dramatic speech, puppet show. It’s an easy room, people will applaud. I am living proof. Come listen even if you don’t want to read. We need listeners, too. And you may just decide, “shucks, I can do better than this clown.” (It’s good to know I continue to inspire people.)
