My November Movie is among Michael J. Fox's last starring movie role. It was while filming this is New Zealand he decided changing over to mostly TV work would allow him to stay close to his family. It did poorly in theaters because people assumed it was just another funny little action comedy like he was famous for. There is a humorous setup to the start and some funny bits here, but the story gets dark quickly.
