The importance of Iran not getting their own Nuclear Weapons has been in the news a lot lately. This made me think of all the films made in the 50s through the 70s, warning of nuclear holocaust. This movie is one of the better ones, i think. This is not a happy movie. It takes place after the bombs have been dropped and the sad aftermath. It does bring home one vision of that worst case scenario. Lots of stars and also great writing and acting by the whole cast.
In the Narnia Room at the Foundry, second floor. Popcorn provided, bring your dinner, bring a friend, bring a date. Discussion afterwards for anyone that can stay. This is a slightly longer movie than usual. 2 hours and 15 minutes. We will take a short break about halfway.
