The National Women’s March was established in 2016, as a repudiation of the current presidential administration. Here in Lincoln, we held our first Women’s March from UNL’s Union to our State Capitol on January 20, 2017 and each year until the Pandemic hit. In 2021 we virtually held an event honoring Black Women and their pivotal role in politics, and in our country. In 2022, we held an in-person march focusing on women’s reproductive rights
