July's movie by request is Bottle Shock. From 2008. Not a documentary, but based on real events and people. In 1976, California wine makers were making better and better wines, but always suffered from comparison with those from France. Steven Spurrier, a British man played by Alan Rickman, who had moved to France to sell wine, was not having great success. He hatched a plan to have a blind wine tasting between the wineries from both countries, called the 'Judgement of Paris' this would be publicized during the United States Bicentennial celebrations. This is a dramatization of their story. Starring Rickman, Chris Pine, Bill Pullman, Rachael Taylor, Dennis Farina, and a small but important part by Eliza Dushku.

As usual, showing in Narnia Room on the second floor, popcorn provided, BYOW, bring a date, bring a friend, bring your dinner, bring a snack.
