This movie is from 1940 and won several awards. It’s a realistic depiction of a sharecropper family displaced during the worst part of the ‘Dust Bowl.’ They travel to California trying to procure work and ultimately, survival. It is based on the Steinbeck novel of the same name. This is not a happy movie, bring tissues. Bring your dinner if you like. Popcorn and possibly brownies will be provided by our generous host, Larry! In the 3rd floor Conference room in the Foundry!
