Common Root is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit part of your grassroots community. We provide a welcoming and supportive community-run space, with resources for the purpose of mutual inspiration, education, and connection.
We strive to build a safe space where everyone is welcome. We’re inclusive of all genders & sexual orientations. We’re here to celebrate our diversity and to embrace everything that makes us unique.
Community-building is at the heart of everything we do. Everyone is invited to engage, learn, and have fun with us! We aim to bring individuals together to facilitate meaningful connections. It inspires us every time we witness this at our events and meetings.
Wish you could hold a garage sale to get rid of some stuff? Consider bringing your used items, clothing, extra produce and more to our monthly Free Saturday events!
Need a venue for an art show, small group meeting or skillshare? Common Root can help you facilitate events for free, allowing you to share your passions with the community.
Want to get out and see a movie with a group of people but you can’t afford it? We have free movie screenings twice each month, join us!
All Common Root events are free & open to the public.
Get your activism and social change buttons here! Our volunteers have been hand pressing pinback buttons since 2013 with designs by our volunteer professional Graphic Artist. Check out our selection or order a batch of custom buttons for yourself or your organization.
We also donate buttons to local organizations and nonprofits. Request a button donation or order buttons at the link below.
